1h agoOggi Gelato officially opened their second location in the U.S. this weekend in Fairfield.
There was a large turnout for the grand opening Saturday to celebrate their new store at 1499 Post Rd., with lines down the block. Customers received free gelato and slices of pizza from Romancci.
Owner Carmelo Chiaramida says the success of his product across the world is a dream come true and is due to his "simple" and "fresh" ingredients.
The store will be open from 12 p.m. through 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday, the store is opened from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Oggi's first U.S. location is in Norwalk on Westport Avenue.
