Police say a 23-year-old man has been arrested following a crash that killed two teens in Hicksville last Friday.

According to police, Frank Labidi, 23, was driving a white BMW westbound on Old Country Road around 11:30 p.m. when he lost control. The vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, struck a tree and then hit a building.

The two passengers, Alexa Duryea and Lindse Parke, both 19 and from Levittown, sustained severe trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Labidi, of Farmingville, is charged with two counts of second-degree manslaughter and two counts of second-degree assault. He is set to be arraigned this afternoon in Hempstead.
