Two men were arrested after a supermarket robbery at knifepoint in Bridgeport led to a police chase that ended in a crash in Woodbridge, police said.
Police say Osvaldo Beard-Beltran and Giovanni Rivera are accused of taking about $500 worth of meat from the Gala Foods supermarket.
When an employee tried to stop them, the men pulled out a large knife and threatened the worker before fleeing, police said.
Officers later spotted the vehicle and pursued it.
Police say the chase ended when the car crashed into a UPS truck in Woodbridge.
The two men are facing multiple charges.
