A Robbinsville Girl Scout will take the mound at Trenton Thunder Ballpark Thursday night. Saanvi Rao will throw out the ceremonial first pitch during the Thunder’s “Garden State Night” after earning the Girl Scouts’ prestigious Gold Award for a project focused on reducing fast fashion waste. The celebration will also feature a special jersey auction, with the Thunder’s “Fighting Finches” jerseys benefiting Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey.
