An orthodontics office recently celebrated the retirement of Elaine Buchman, a 97-year-old employee who has worked in the field for 80 years.

The Lake Hopatcong resident cared for generations of patients, sometimes treating children, parents and grandparents from the same families.

Buchman's coworkers at The Raphael Center for Integrative Orthodontics threw a farewell bash for their inspiring colleague. They also submitted her credentials to Guinness World Records for the longest career by a woman in orthodontics.
