Police have identified a husband and wife as the victims of a double homicide September in Hillsborough Township.

Authorities say David Lin and his wife, Jean, were found dead inside the home while police were conducting a welfare check.

Officers also encountered a man armed with a knife. Police fatally shot him when he began moving toward them with the weapon.

Detectives say the case remains under investigation.
