Students, parents, alumnae and staff of Preston High School continued their fight back against the Catholic school's impending closure.
They held their second rally in less than a week, this time in front of Good Counsel at Pace University, to directly confront the nuns.
“We want to show them we stand for Preston and they are the ones that are taking it away from us," said Katie Leich, of the Class of 2005.
The headquarters for the Sisters of Divine Compassion is located in White Plains next to the university's law school campus.
“We want to fight and give these girls an opportunity to finish strong," said Leich.
The Board of Trustees for Preston blames financial struggles and declining enrollment for the closure at the end of the school year.
