Three Middletown men were arrested during a long-term investigation into narcotics trafficking throughout the city and surrounding areas this week.
The Orange County District Attorney’s Office says Denzel Warner, Jose Soto and Darius Monroe were caught after a series of police searches targeting three local homes and vehicles believed to be involved in the case.
Vehicles investigators surveilled traveling from Orange County to The Bronx were among those searched.
Hundreds of grams of cocaine, cash, scales and drug packaging materials were recovered as a result.
The three men were arraigned in the City of Middletown Court and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail.
District Attorney David M. Hoovler praised the efforts of law enforcement in a release announcing the arrests.
“It takes the persistent efforts of law enforcement to disrupt the trafficking of narcotics into our communities,” he said. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to stemming the tide of the drug trade in Orange County and will continue to allocate resources and manpower to these investigations which are critical to ensuring the safety of our citizens.”
