Vietnam veterans were honored Saturday in Milford during an all-day event marking 50 years since the end of the war.
It featured speakers, special ceremonies and live entertainment.
As part of the event, dozens of flags were placed on the Milford Green.
"It's important that we never forget, it's our duty never to forget the people who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and our way of life in this country. It's our duty that we never forget," says veteran Bill Bataglia.
Organizers say it's especially important that younger generations learn about sacrifices veterans have made.
