Storms are likely to develop on Thursday with the potential to become strong or severe.
Damaging winds and larger hail are the main threats. Some localized heavy downpours are likely.
The bigger rain hits Thursday as the front slowly settles in the area. Flooding is a concern more for Thursday.
Cooler temperatures take hold starting Thursday, but we really feel the drop for Friday. Highs will only be in the middle 70s.
The weekend right now looks pleasant with lower humidity, sunshine and high temperatures in the lower 80s.
