        Hauppauge driving instructor pleads not guilty to forcibly touching female student

        Police say Arnold Stecker, 72, is accused of touching a 20-year-old student inappropriately during a driving lesson Tuesday in East Northport.

        A driving instructor from Hauppauge pleaded not guilty Sunday to forcibly touching one of his female students.
        Police say Arnold Stecker, 72, is accused of touching a 20-year-old student inappropriately during a driving lesson Tuesday in East Northport.
        Police say the defendant worked at the Fitzgerald's Driving School in North Babylon.
        "I intend to represent Mr. Stecker vigorously against these allegations," says attorney Powers Law at at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
        Prosecutors say the 72-year-old convinced a female student to take a break from driving and then inappropriately touched her in the backseat.
        Stecker has since been released on GPS monitoring and is due back in court on Tuesday.
