Runners and walkers gathered in Valhalla Sunday morning to fundraise for the YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester and The Friends of the Kensico Cemetery.
The event featured two variations of the walk – a 3.1-mile version and a 1.7-mile version. There was also a full breakfast buffet and raffle prizes.
"[The YMCA is] a great group," said Matthew Parisi, president of the Friends of Kensico Cemetery. "They do fantastic programs for young kids around Westchester so we're really proud to be affiliated with them."
