12h agoA Floral Park real estate attorney has admitted to embezzling $1.7 million from clients.
Officials say Terrance Dougherty admitted to spending his clients' money that was meant for down payments at adult entertainment clubs.
The Nassau District Attorney’s office says he took the money from 20 people from August of 2023 to November of 2024.Dougherty faces up to 10 years in prison when sentenced.
