A fire ripped through a Keansburg home Wednesday morning.
The fire was along Lincoln Avenue around 11 a.m. Gusty winds sent the smoke and debris from the burning home several blocks away.
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby homes.
Fire officials say that the department is made up of volunteers.
"The fact that it's the middle of the week and every crew around here is a volunteer fire department, they got here this fast. It's just a testament to how great they are and how dedicated they are,” said Capt. Mike Deaney.
Deaney says that no injuries were reported.
