A fire ripped through an home early this morning in North Bergen at 405 71st St.
The smoke and soot is thick as crews worked swiftly to put out the blaze. The neighborhood itself was packed with police, EMT and fire crews from multiple towns.
Police on site told News 12 that although it started at 405 71st St., it did trickle in to the homes on the left and right of it.
The windows are blown open and the door and roof are damaged. The home is intact, structurally from what our crews can see.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
