        Firefighters in Fairfield rescued a man who was stuck inside a boat on Burroughs Road Saturday.
        Officials say they received a call around 12:30 p.m.
        Emergency crews found the semi-responsive man stuck inside a small compartment where the boat's anchor and chain are stored.
        It's not clear how the man ended up in the space.
        The only access area was a triangular hatch that was 18 inches by 18 inches wide according to authorities.
        The man was removed and stabilized using various lifting and moving techniques.
        He was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center.
        Prior to the rescue, the man was last seen by friends Friday.
