A second person has died as a result of a fire at a University Heights barbershop.

The family of Willy Reyes says he died following a fire at La Roka Barbershop at 31 W. Burnside Ave.

Candles were lit outside the business Monday night, as those who knew Reyes gathered to hold a vigil, pay their respects and honor his life.

The family of Shanti Quinones, who was severely burned inside the barbershop, confirmed she died on Aug. 28.

The FDNY has said that the fire was caused by a lithium-ion battery.
