Snowfall added up quickly across Long Island on Sunday, with several communities in both Nassau and Suffolk counties reporting double-digit totals as the winter storm moved through.
In Suffolk County, East Setauket led with 13.5 inches, followed closely by 12.9 inches at Islip Airport and 12.8 inches in Commack. Babylon measured 12 inches, while Shirley reported 11 inches by the end of the storm.
Across Nassau County, snowfall totals were similarly impressive. East Massapequa picked up 12.2 inches, while Glen Cove and Seaford each reported 12.1 inches. East Williston and East Meadow rounded out the higher totals with just over 10 inches.
The heavy snow led to difficult travel conditions across Long Island, especially on untreated roads. Cleanup efforts remain ongoing as crews work to clear streets, sidewalks, and parking areas.
