Thousands of families came out Sunday to be amazed by aerial acrobatics on the second and last day of FourLeaf AirShow at Jones Beach.
New York State Parks says 187,000 people attended Sunday's airshow compared to 89,000 on Saturday.
It's the largest and most popular event held at Jones Beach a day before Memorial Day.
"This is a patriotic event. We are honoring veterans and those who have given their lives for our freedom, " explained George Gorman, Regional Director at New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
This year's air show featured 14 air performances, including the main act from the U.S Airforce Thunderbirds.
"We try to come out every year. It's an awesome family event" one visitor said.
Organizers said all of the parking lots were at full capacity by mid Sunday morning.
