News 12 obtained video showing the moments leading up to a cyclist being hit and killed by a cement truck in Borough Park.
Police say it happened after 3 p.m. Wednesday near 16th Avenue and 49th Street.
They say a 53-year-old man was riding a bike when he was hit by a cement truck.
Police say the truck was driven by a 68-year-old man. They say the truck and the cyclist were both traveling southbound on 16th Avenue at the time of the crash.
EMS took the cyclist to Maimonides Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene of the crash.
News 12 crews observed part of 16th Avenue closed off to traffic for the investigation.
