A Cumberland County man convicted of murdering his parents was sentenced to 154 years in prison on Friday.
Craig Williams was
found guilty of numerous charges stemming from the fatal 2023 stabbings of Brenda and Billy Williams Jr. inside their Hopewell Township home.
Prosecutors say the case began on March 13, 2023, when New Jersey State Police troopers conducted a welfare check at the residence after concerned relatives reported not hearing from the couple.
Upon arrival, Williams claimed his parents were not home. Investigators later entered the residence and
found both victims dead with multiple stab wounds in their bedroom and bathroom.
Prosecutors presented proof during the trial that he discarded or attempted to discard evidence including bloody clothing, gloves, shoes, towels, a surveillance camera and the victims' cellphones.
