Funeral services were held recently for both Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas after they were killed by a hit-and-run driver.

Vincent Battiloro, 17, of Garwood, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
Knowing how difficult it is for all involved, Cranford Police Chief Matthew Nazzaro asked for patience and understanding as the investigation continues during last night's council meeting.
