Someone turned the fountain in the middle of the village of Goshen into a giant bubble bath—again.
The scene unfolded overnight at the EH Harriman fountain, where suds spilled into the road with help from the rain.
Residents say this has become a yearly event, possibly involving local high school students.
Victoria Perruna of Goshen said, “It happens all the time, and sometimes during Shark Week, there are sharks in there. The bubble guy, the bubble bandit, he's always going to keep coming.”
Goshen public works crews spent hours draining, scrubbing, and refilling the fountain. They say no extra resources or overtime were used and admitted they got a laugh out of it.
Police say they’re looking to charge someone with a misdemeanor.
