A Brooklyn man accused of committing an armed robbery in the West Village was arrested last Monday.
Police say Ely Leonard, 61, brandished a firearm and stole the 87-year-old victim’s purse in October.
The woman was uninjured, according to police. Leonard now faces robbery and burglary charges.
