The NYPD is searching for two men accused of snatching necklaces off people on the street while riding a black moped.
Police say the pair is linked to at least eight incidents since mid-October, mostly in Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan.
They’ve been stealing necklaces worth between $500 and $7,000, amounting to nearly $15,000 in jewelry, according to police.
Most of the thefts have happened during the day.
Some victims reported minor injuries from the snatchings or from falling. Victims range in age from 15 to 68.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
