A Brooklyn man is claiming that he is the victim of deed fraud.
Edwin Dick says he was wrongfully evicted from his own home of nearly 40 years this week and put in jail for two days.
He says dozens of sheriff deputies showed up at 347 Lincoln Road to put Dick and other tenants out of the home.
At least 15 people at the residence were arrested, mostly for trespassing.
“I never thought I would be evicted from my own property,” said Dick.
The Brooklyn resident said he believes this began when he took out loans meant for renovations.
The alleged lender, Rosdev Capital Funding, is now listed under court documents as the new property owner.
News 12 called the law firm representing the new property owners for comment and were told to send an email. After doing so, there has not been any response.
