A family who moved to Brooklyn from Pakistan earlier this year is frantically looking for their missing loved one whom they say suffers from mental illness.
Photos of Robinson Javed are posted along Bay Ridge Parkway in Bensonhurst. The family is hoping that the photos get the attention of anyone who may have seen the 20-year-old. Javed’s family says he was seen just last Monday.
The family says Javed was last seen leaving the family’s home on 21st Avenue Monday morning. There have been few signs of him since.
Javed’s family says he is nonverbal and in need of daily medication.
The family is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to Javed’s safe return.
