NWS Alerts: Coastal Flood Advisory until 2 a.m. Saturday
Forecast:
The only impacts Hurricane Erin brought to the area were stiff breezes and choppy conditions on the sound. Coastal flooding was minimal.
There was some saltwater inundation, but nothing noteworthy enough to make headlines.
Skies will continue to clear tonight. Winds will remain breezy, though not as gusty as earlier in the day.
Sunny skies and a favorable breeze will warm afternoon temperatures back into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
This pleasant weather pattern will continue into Saturday.
On Sunday, clouds will begin to gather as a weather system approaches from western New York.
By late Sunday, showers may develop and are expected to carry over into Monday.
