WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Veterans Day is shaping up to be the coldest day we've seen so far this season, all across the Hudson Valley.
Strong, gusty winds coupled with an arctic airmass, will have temps running about 10-20 degrees below average. Factor in the winds, and the temps will feel into the 20s & 30s.
A few rounds of flurries are possible through the day.
Gusty winds back down after today, but steady winds will linger into Thursday.
Temperatures will slowly rise through the next several days.
Friday is looking good, with mostly sunny skies and temps trying to get into the 50s.
The weekend ahead starts off cold and dry but sees temps warm up a little ahead of another system moving our way.
There is a chance for rain Sunday into Monday.
