WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Temperature will be at their coldest levels so far this season, as we deal with the coldest air mass we've seen since last February.
Temps will thankfully not feel as cold due to lack of winds around. But wearing layers and covering extremities is still advised. Especially for prolonged exposure outside.
Clouds thicken up later today with a milder flow of air moving in.
A storm system approaches the Northeast Wednesday, bringing snow showers to the Hudson Valley for the tail end of the morning rush.
Expect snow showers to transition into rain showers for areas south of I-84, but remain as snow to the north, for the midday and afternoon hours.
The system pulls away Wednesday night and brings gusty winds into the region for Thursday.
We're eyeballing another storm system for this weekend, that could bring winter showers to the region Saturday.
