Well, tomorrow is one of the biggest celebrations of Irish pride in the Hudson Valley, and our Lisa LaRocca is in Yonkers this morning along McLean Avenue to tell us all about it. Lisa, you have the best job today getting your hands on some sweet treats this morning. Oh my gosh, this is the best place to be. I love McLean Avenue. It is such a fun place. If you've never been here. It's just everybody here is so warm and friendly, and it's known as the Emerald Mile and for very good reasons. So tomorrow being St. Patrick's Day parade, this is a more than 70 year tradition. It draws thousands of people and of course. It's very good for all the lovely businesses that are up and down McLean Avenue. So right now we are in the McLean Avenue Bagel Cafe, one of my favorite spots here. I got to tell you, they make really awesome Irish soda bread. Let me introduce you to Anthony. You're up bright and early with this. Big day for you guys tomorrow. Yeah, yeah, it's a really nice day. It's going to be thousands of people coming in. Ton of families, especially, it's a, it's a busy day for you to you're gonna be making a lot of, uh, a lot of Irish soda bread tomorrow. Oh, a ton of soda breads, especially bagels, because that's our main thing. Yeah, I know, and you make green ones too, but you guys do everything. They do the, they do the, um, the traditional Irish breakfast. It's great. We'll be here all morning. Stay with us. Let's go back to the studio.

Yeah, this is one of the biggest parties of the year, the Yonkers, uh, Saint Patrick's Day parade. It is amazing. They get thousands of people, and it's not even just about the parade too, but here on McLean Avenue, known as the Emerald Mile, one of the greatest places in the Hudson Valley, we're in one of my favorite places here, uh, McLean, the Irish Coffee Shop. Ready to get jealous, guys? Watch what's going on here. I got. Traditional Irish breakfast. We got fish and chips. We got shepherd's pie, and these, these are scones like you dream about. This is one of the best places here. So let me introduce you. Where is Donna? Come on over here, Donna. Good morning. Good morning, Lisa. So thank you first of all. For preparing all this amazing stuff for us, this is great. So, are you ready for tomorrow? It's a big day. We are, we are ready, preparing all week for it. Started at the start of March, getting ready. It's been a busy month from the start right through then we had Saint Patrick's Day on Tuesday. Tomorrow, looking forward to bringing. Happy yonkers to McLean Avenue. I know it's, it's such a big day and I, I, it's got to be great for the businesses too. It is, it is great, yeah, we do everywhere along the avenue from the start to the finish. Everybody, the weather's looking good tomorrow as well, so that's huge. Weather could be a factor for us, but yeah, it's huge. So what, what do most people got, I mean, uh, in the Irish soda bread here, you got, what did you say? You just like, you can't, you can't get them out of the oven. Oh we can't, we can't, just as soon as one batch comes goes in, one batch comes out, it's just, it's just a great turnover, yeah, just can't keep them. People call ahead, making sure we have them, put their orders in the night before, so. They're ready for the first thing in the morning. Thank you. It is worth it. Let me tell you something. If you're coming tomorrow, you gotta come here to the Irish Coffee Shop. It is so amazing. Now tomorrow parade steps off at one o'clock. There's going to be a lot of street closures. Get here early. One thing you can do. Over to MGM Empire Casino. They actually have free parking and a free shuttle that's running between 11 and 5 o'clock. Calm down. It is a great time.
