Between a double layer of French leavers lace, a beautiful band and some elegant or edgy elastic straps, lives your bespoke lingerie design that is all about you.
These ladies have just begun their hands on a four-hour bespoke lingerie-making workshop at Rue Du Paradis.
"It's not about what another person sees. It's about what you see and what you feel," said one student in the class.
"You send the measurements. We make your size and then we teach you how to make something like [this one]," said Fanny Faraman, founder of Rue Du Paradis.
        Today's lesson? Beautiful bralettes.
After matching layers of lace to your skin tone, your measurements and your mood, students get to sewing. One longtime lingerie connoisseur told News 12 how this class is about much more than just making undergarments and also about femininity, fierceness and fabulosity.
"There's this generational idea that your beautiful underthings are intended for a partner to see and witness. That's something that I think my generation is disrupting beautifully," said student Natalie Yasmin Soto.
They are pieces of meaningful fabric where creativity and comfort meet confidence made by you and for you.
"It's a piece of clothing that's so close to your skin, and it's so high quality, and it's so precious, and it fits you perfectly. You do see yourself differently, and you do see the beauty in your body," said Faraman.
