A fire broke out early Friday at Northwind Kennels on Old Post Road, also known as Route 22, in Bedford.
Flames started around 5:30 a.m. on one of several buildings on the property.
The fire is out, and while still an active scene, some units have cleared.
Police say all of the animals are safe.
Old Post Road is blocked in both directions by emergency vehicles, and drivers are urged to avoid the area.
