Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a person responsible for an assault inside the Nyack Library on Friday.

Orangetown police say they received a call reporting the incident around 4:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found a man with injuries to his head.

Emergency personnel treated the victim at the scene, according to officials.

Authorities have not released any more details.
