The Bronx Fireworks Extravaganza is an annual show put on with the help of Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson, local leaders and organizations, including Bronx Tourism.
There was live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Orchard Beach near the handball courts. The fireworks started at 9:15 p.m.
