        Annual 'Elephant Drop' attracts thousands in Dumbo

        Proceeds from the annual drop support Dumbo's Title 1 public schools, P.S. 307 Elementary and The Dock Street Middle School.

        The event featured over 1,000 toy elephants that were attached to parachutes and were dropped from building rooftops. These elephants were designed by local Brooklyn artist Noah Lyon.
        Every ticket holder was entered into a sweepstakes. The prizes range from a six-month family membership to Life Time Dumbo to a two-night hotel stay at 1Hotel Brooklyn and so many more.

        Spectators told News 12 they were excited to come out and join in on the fun while support local schools.
