Alex Jones has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear his appeal of the $1.4 billion judgment issued against him.

The Infowars host argues the judge was wrong to hold him liable for defamation and emotional distress without a trial based on allegations from families of Newtown school shooting victims.

During the damages trial, those families testified that people who follow Jones subjected them to death and rape threats, along with in-person harassment.
