        9 of 12 suspects in missing Patchogue teen case to be arraigned on an indictment

        Nine of the 12 suspects charged in the case of the missing teen from Patchogue are set to be arraigned on an indictment today.
        One of those suspects will be facing a new top charge for his alleged involvement in the case.
        Court records say Alton Harrell will be charged with first degree kidnapping.
        As News 12 has reported, court documents say Harrell abducted the girl on Dec. 9 and brought her to an abandoned home in Bellport.

        Harrell is one of nine suspects facing an indictment this morning. Others are facing similar charges they were arrested for, that includes sexual abuse, sex trafficking, endangering the welfare of a child, kidnapping and more.
        As News 12 reported, the 14-year-old was missing for 25 days before she was found on a boat at the White Cap Marina in Islip. Twelve people in total are facing charges in her disappearance.
        According to court records, the 12th person was arrested on Friday.
