Two people were shot in the Melrose section of The Bronx on Sunday night, police say. The pair are expected to be OK but the people responsible are still out there.

According to the NYPD, this all happened minutes before 8:30 p.m. They were called to the scene at 356 E. 152nd St. where they found two people shot. A 42-year-old woman and 41-year-old man were shot in the stomach and were rushed to the hospital. As of right now it's unclear if the pair were the intended targets.

Police are still searching for three men responsible for the shooting. They were all wearing black surgical masks before running away.
