Atlantic City man pleads guilty to attempted murder in 2023 stabbing

The Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office says the victim was with a friend when an unknown man, who was later identified as Tyler Smith, approached him and stabbed him in the neck.

An Atlantic City man pleaded guilty to attempted murder for a stabbing that happened back in July 3, 2023.
The Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office says the victim was with a friend when an unknown man, who was later identified as Tyler Smith, approached him and stabbed him in the neck.
The victim survived.
Smith pleaded guilty on Friday to first-degree attempted murder and first-degree bias intimidation in exchange for a recommended sentence of 15 years in state prison.
Smith will be sentenced on Jan. 16.
