Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark announced 10 people were arrested and charged in relation to multiple shootings throughout the borough.

Those people, with ages ranging from 16 to 25, are variously charged with murder, attempted murder and weapons charges for a series of shootings around Labor Day. Those shootings left four people dead and seven wounded.

"We are holding the perpetrators accountable to bring justice to their 11 victims, their families, friends and neighbors," said District Attorney Darcel Clark during a news conference Monday afternoon.

In the room, 13 guns laid on a table. Those guns were confiscated by the NYPD during the various shootings.

On Aug. 23, three people allegedly opened fire in Haffen Park, spraying nearly 60 bullets throughout the crowd of a basketball tournament. The shooting killed 32-year-old Jaceil Blanks and 17-year-old Anthonaya Campbell.

On Sept. 1, five people allegedly started shooting at a subject on Allerton Avenue, killing 24-year-old Jamari Henry.

On Sept. 2, one person is charged with shooting and killing 21-year-old Jontay Davis near Allerton Avenue.

Another person was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The DA's office is now looking into how these guns ended up on the streets.

Clark said, "When was it purchased? Where did it come from and how did it eventually get into the hands of a 16-year-old who can't drive, who can't drink, who can't vote or do anything else?"

Law enforcement officials say these shootings are tied to gang affiliations. The NYPD, the DA's office and other city, state, and federal partners are working to find out where the guns came from, and how to add programming for youth so they learn the skills necessary to not engage in street violence.

The DA's office says the next step is a series of court hearings at the Bronx Hall of Justice. Whether the cases go to trial remains to be seen.
