Man identified in deadly Allerton shooting
The 29-year-old man who was shot and killed in Allerton Saturday night has been identified, according to the NYPD.
Police responded to a 911 call for a man shot at the intersection of Cruger Avenue and Magenta Street at 9:19 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Jason Ferrer with a gunshot wound to his torso.
Ferrer was rushed to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators say they are searching for two men who rode away from the scene on a scooter.
No arrests have been made as of Sunday morning.
