        Yorktown student-athlete suffers puncture wound during junior varsity boys lacrosse game

        It happened last Tuesday while he was playing against the Wappingers junior varsity lacrosse team.

        News 12 confirmed that a Yorktown student-athlete suffered a puncture wound during a junior varsity boys lacrosse game.
        It happened last Tuesday while he was playing against the Wappingers junior varsity lacrosse team.
        The Yorktown defender had the butt end of his stick puncture through his leg.
        He was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital where he underwent surgery.
        The Yorktown School District would not release any information about the student or his injury.
