A minor in Dutchess County is facing charges for making a non-specific school threat on TikTok.

State police and the FBI investigated the threat, tracing it to Wappinger. The minor was arrested and charged with making a threat of mass harm, a Class B misdemeanor.

The Wappingers Central School District will also take action according to their code of conduct, Superintendent Dr. Dwight Bonk confirmed.
