Rocco Russo, a Navy veteran who served aboard the USS Aucilla, celebrated his 100th birthday. Russo founded Russo Electric in 1976, which still serves Westchester County.
Peter Hahn, a 101-year-old P-51 fighter pilot, flew 27 missions over Germany during the war. "My experience and missions were pretty much joy rides over Europe," Hahn reflected.
Hahn and his late wife have called Armonk home for over 67 years.
