A Seymour man is behind bars after being accused of breaking into a home in Shelton during the middle of the day.
Police say a woman returned home Friday and found David Pavlik inside.
The victim got into a physical altercation with Pavlik, biting him and taking pictures before he drove away.
Authorities say Pavlik had previously done work at the home and is known to the woman.
He now faces charges including home invasion, robbery, and burglary.
