2h agoA woman has been charged with animal cruelty after two kittens were found abandoned in a backpack on a hot August day in Clifton.
Police say 41-year-old Chastidy Gadson of Paterson left the animals without food or water.
The kittens survived after being taken to a veterinarian.
Gadson was charged this week.
