A newly renovated laundromat in Brooklyn Heights is changing the game for chores.
Instead of making multiple trips to the laundromat to drop off your clothes, wait to tend to them, flip them over and come back to pick them up-- now you can do all that waiting inside of a cozy laundromat with a coffee and a croissant in hand.
Laundry & Latte owner, J.R. Dumas, tells News 12 the idea to him was "common sense."
Growing up in Paris, Dumas recalls coffee being a big part of his life. He wanted to find a way to bring a cafe to New York City that he described as "tangible" and "meaningful" to the community.
While News 12 was onsite Thursday, neighbors made sure to mention how convenient and inviting the shop is -- including the clean and new renovations.
