A Westport woman who is from Los Angeles is heartbroken for her family after they lost everything in the California wildfires.
Alli DiVincenzo was born and raised in Pacific Palisades, a neighborhood on the westside of Los Angeles, very similar to Westport.
Alli's brother Doug Neiman sent back images from the wildfires.
He broke down in tears to see his family's home now reduced to ashes.
Neiman's 17-year-old daughter Ciaran suffered a series of life changing strokes from a deadly eColi infection when she was 2 years old.
She lost most of her motor skills and requires full-time care and specialized medical equipment.
Neiman says it was especially hard to see her burned wheelchair.
"When I saw my daughter's wheelchair you know just burned to a crisp it was pretty emotional truthfully. Apologies for breaking up here a little bit. That was a clearly difficult moment for me as we lost all of her equipment. She got out of there so quickly," said Neiman.
Neiman says his daughter's school has been destroyed by the fires.
His 12-year-old son's school has also been ruined.
