Fairfield residents are continuing to recover from flooding that damaged homes and property last weekend.
Town officials are encouraging homeowners to report damage through the State Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security as recovery efforts continue.
Photos released by the town show flooding damage in parts of the community.
Residents whose electric or gas service was turned off are being advised to contact the Building Department before service is restored.
The town also says residents can contact the tree warden for help removing trees and branches.
Homeowners with a vehicle permit can drop off up to 500 pounds of yard waste free of charge at the town transfer station.
